Describe the Celebrity - DWAYNE JOHNSON, Full Character Description Booklet including Newspaper Page
Attached is a PowerPoint and PDF version of the character booklet for the above celebrity. There is also a separate A4 colouring page which can be used for a classroom display along with the celebrity profiles. Below is a summary of what is included in the booklet:-
Page One
Front cover page. Students can colour in the bubble writing and there is a space for the students to write their name. When complete I ringbind these booklets and they make great English table displays.
Page Two
Features page: the children are to think of the following things about their character and write these in the boxes surrounding the celebrity:
The celebrity’s likes
The celebrity’s dislikes
The celebrity’s feelings
The celebrity’s friends
The celebrityr’s family
The celebrity’s hopes
The celebrity’s fears
The celebrity’s house
The celebrity’s hobbies
The celebrity’s past
The celebrity’s present
The celebrity’s future
The celebrity’s problems
The celebrity’s solutions
Page Three
Students to now list of features for the character to help write their celebrity profile.
On this page there is an image of the celebrity and a whole lines page for the students to add lots of detail in sentences. Ask them to focus largely on the features that they have found already and to use powerful adjectives.
Page Four
Students are to write down some things that the celebrity might say and think.
Page Five
Students are to describe the celebrity’s physical appearance of the character.
Page Six
Students can either use this page to colour in the character or thy can write down describing words inside the image, using powerful adjectives.
Page Seven
Newspaper Template with the title being the celebrity above and plenty of space for students to write facts, details or creatively create their very own breaking news headline about the famous celebrity!
Feel free to edit the PowerPoint with your own questions and features if you wish, and of course feel free to delete / add pages at your leisure to make a booklet that works best for your class(es)
Thanks for looking at my resources, I really appreciate your interest and your 5 star reviews.
Growth Mindset - 10 x Coloring Sheets / Colouring Pages Activity Printable A4 Mindfulness Worksheets
The PDF file is ready to print on A4 (you could also select multiple to a page so children have a small set each which they can print and write about / annotate in their exercise books.) I like to print ‘two to a page’ which gives them an A5, smaller version.
These make a great classroom display for your reading area / topic area in class, especially if you click ‘print to A3’.
They’re also good if you print them smaller (i.e. 6 to a page) so that the students can then annotate them i.e. writing specific descriptions next to the pictures.
I have lots more colouring sheets in my shop.
If you leave a positive 5 star review on this purchase you can choose any resource in my shop to own for free (I will send it via e-mail)
